By using this site all ASOR Virtual Annual Meeting (VAM) attendees agree to the following participation terms and rules:
Participation and attendance in “live” sessions and workshops of the Virtual Annual Meeting is at ASOR’s sole discretion. In order to provide a safe and respectful platform for all attendees, ASOR staff (and session moderators or other volunteers acting on behalf of ASOR) reserves the right to mute, disable video, or remove an attendee at any time for any reason. If such action is taken, notification will be sent the ASOR President, ASOR Executive Director, and ASOR Director of Meetings and Events, who will be in contact with the attendee about future participation in live components of the VAM. ASOR, at its sole discretion, may reinstate an attendee or may continue to disallow live participation. Attendees agree:
- Not to record, publish, distribute, share, resell, or in any other way, exploit the content of this event. In addition to the asynchronous academic content, this also applies to links and URLs for the virtual meetings.
- Event presentations and materials are the original works of authorship and are the individual property of the respective presenters. Written authorization of both the respective presenter and ASOR is required to reference or share any content associated with ASOR’s Virtual Annual Meeting.
- Online sessions and workshops will be recorded. By virtue of participation, you consent to being recorded by ASOR and the host platform provided by OpenWater. Recordings will make it easier for all attendees to view more sessions than is normally possible.
- ASOR’s Code of Conduct for the ASOR Annual Meeting and Other ASOR Sponsored Events applies to ASOR’s Virtual Annual Meeting.
To report a violation of these terms and rules, or to share questions or comments, please e-mail ASOR’s Executive Director, Andrew Vaughn (executive-director@asor.org), ASOR’s Director of Meetings and Events, Arlene Press (meetings@asor.org), and / or ASOR’s President, Sharon Herbert (president@asor.org).
